"When desire becomes obsession"... I like the sound of that! :o)

It's "当欲望变成痴迷" in Chinese.

Hi Anatoli

Distinguishing between "I WILL NOT do this" and "I WOULD NOT do this" is mainly based upon context.

For "will", since it's saying what you will do in the future, mavbe can add a "将" in front of the sentence. eg. 我(将)不会这么做。 But, it seems a little redundant...

Hope that's helpful.

Hi If I were you I wouldn't do this. 如果我是你(的话), 我不会这样做. The words in brackets are optional. If = 如果 我 = I 是你 = were/am you 不会 = would not (in this context) 这样做 = do this There are many Chinese equivalents of "if", like “如果“, ”倘若“, “要是”, and they basically mean the same thing. In Chinese there is no ...

Hi, what you have there is actually a beautiful poem by 张继 (Zhang Ji),《枫桥夜泊》(Nightstay on Feng Bridge), which goes: 月落乌啼霜满天,江枫渔火对愁眠。 姑苏城外寒山寺,夜半钟声到客船。 The version on your script is read and written right to left, top to bottom, and the ordering of the characters is this: 客半外对满月 船钟寒愁天落 声山眠江乌 到寺姑枫啼 夜苏渔...

Out of context, the 2 words doesn't mean anything... Maybe you scan the map and put up a link to it?

I am sorry; I've never seen these characters before. If you are sure they are chinese, then they must be in a very old kind of script.

鷹主長空 eh?

Literally:

鷹 = eagle
主 = lord or god
長 = long
空 = sky

長空 could be a name, so in this case, it will mean "Chang Kong, lord of the eagles". 長空 could also mean "always in the sky" though.
